Our
Story
I moved to Telegraph Cove, British Columbia, seeking a quieter life and found inspiration in the untouched beauty around me — mist-covered forests, the call of orcas, and sunsets that seemed otherworldly. As a photographer, I had always enjoyed nature photography, but here, something clicked. One day, after a successful shoot of orcas, I sat with Mark, the local café owner, and casually mentioned the idea of starting a photography business focused on the cove’s beauty, offering photography tours and custom prints. He encouraged me, and soon enough, I converted a small cabin into a studio and began offering unique photography experiences. I guided visitors on wildlife tours, taught them how to see the world through a lens, and captured everything from whales gliding through the ocean to mist rising off the trees at dawn. My business grew as word spread, and I found myself not only sharing the beauty of Telegraph Cove with the world but also becoming a part of its tight-knit community. Through my work, I wasn’t just offering prints; I was offering people a chance to take home a piece of the magic I had discovered in this peaceful village, and with every photograph, I fell more in love with this place that had become my home.
